The episode begins with Jaibala demanding to meet Aarav’s wife and insisting to even see her face before moving on from there. Jaibala also refuses to leave until she has done so. When Jaibala hears Anandibaa’s declaration that she can’t see Emily’s face, she is perplexed and asks for an explanation. Anandibaa’s reaction causes Jaibala to be perplexed as well. Anandibaa looks over at Gunjan and sends her a signal to ask for assistance. Meanwhile, Gunjan comes up with an excuse that Emily hasn’t finished her face reveal ceremony yet, and that’s why she can’t show her face before the ceremony takes place. Jaibala expresses her disappointment by announcing that she will leave at seven o’clock in the evening and by stating that the only reason she came was to see Aarav’s wife. On the other hand, she has an idea and insists that she meet Emily without first seeing her face. Emily agrees to this request.

At this point, Anandibaa and Gunjan look at each other as though they cannot believe what they are seeing. On the other hand, Gunjan complies with Jaibala’s demand and succeeds in persuading Anandibaa to do the same in order to avoid raising any suspicions. The latter sends Gunjan into Emily’s room and asks her to bring her out wearing a saree so that Jaibala won’t be able to see her.

Emily has been overheard in other parts of the house denying that she will cover her face and expressing displeasure with the practise. While Gunjan tries to persuade her, she insists that Gunjan does not compel her to wear the saree in such a way that covers her face. In the meantime, Aarav is also providing her with information regarding the procedure and revealing that it is a custom.

Gunjan tells a lie to Emily, claiming that the ring will protect her from evil eyes, and she also invents a story about how Emily’s voice changed after being exposed to evil eyes. Emily is also given a thorough and clear explanation by Aarav regarding the cultural significance of covering one’s face, while Gunjan reveals that Anandibaa requested that she do so. After hearing what Anandibaa has to say, Emily decides that she will comply with her request and cover her face.

Ahead, Emily declares that she is willing to do anything in order to win Anandibaa’s trust and shows some other options, such as a hat and a scarf, to cover her face. However, Gunjan vehemently disagrees and insists that she must wear a saree. Aarav is asked to leave the room, and she then begins the traditional routine of getting Emily ready. It is her intention for Emily to trip and fall in front of Jaibala, so she wraps Emily’s saree improperly on purpose.

Gunjan uses a ploy to expose Emily’s face in front of Jaibala, and then she tells Pinky about it, all the while Pinky approvingly acknowledges her sister’s nefarious scheme. While Gunjan smirks and makes up her mind to kick Emily out of the house, she praises the latter person’s acting skills, saying that he is an outstanding performer. On the other hand, Emily goes downstairs to meet Jaibala, where she is also joined by other members of the family.

Additionally, Kanchan assists Emily in receiving blessings from the more senior members of the community. Anandibaa prevents Jaibala from seeing Emily’s face after she is startled by the sight of Emily’s white hands. Jaibala was about to look at Emily’s face when Anandibaa intervenes. The latter asks questions about it while Gunjan concocts a lie about it. Aarav ushers Emily into the room, and Pinky, who was hoping that Jaibala would see Emily’s face, is left feeling disheartened.
