Kartik Aaryan Says He Is Not ‘Padded’ In Bollywood like Insiders

Kartik Aaryan is a well-known A-list actor who has, from the very beginning of his career, been consistently producing movies that are enjoyable. His first film, Pyaar Ka Punchnama, was released in 2011, and ever since then, the actor hasn’t been able to stop making waves in the industry. Kartik is riding high on the success of the film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which is presently the second highest-grossing Hindi film of this year and has gathered a total of 266 crores in gross earnings from across the globe. The film was a continuation of Bhool Bhulaiyaa, in which Akshay Kumar and Vidya Balan played the leading roles.

Now, the actor was recently asked about his thoughts on being an outsider over the course of an interview that he gave to The Film Companion. Kartik said, “I do not have padding, and I do not get my back taken care of.” I don’t know how an insider would experience it, but as an outsider, I get the impression that if one of my films is a bomb, it may eventually develop a perception that can kill my career. I don’t know how an insider would experience it. I won’t be able to find somebody who is willing to take on a job of that magnitude for me. I am fortunate. I am thankful that despite all that has happened, I am still here. If I make a mistake or the production is a bust, all I ask is that the directors not boot me from any of their subsequent projects.

On the other hand, the actor who appeared in Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety has a number of films that are scheduled to be released in the near future. Next up for him is Shehzada, an official adaptation in Hindi of the South Indian classic Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, in which Allu Arjun plays the major role, and in which Kriti Sanon will also act as the female protagonist. Next up for Kartik is Shashanka Ghosh’s Freddy, which also stars Alaya F; Hansal Mehta’s Captain India; Sameer Vidwans’ SatyaPrem Ki Katha, which also stars Kiara Advani; and an action film directed by Kabir Khan and based on actual events, which is being produced by Nadiadwala and Grandsons.
