Kartik said: “I spent my childhood watching the timeless classic ‘Aashiqui,’ and getting the opportunity to work on ‘Aashiqui 3’ is like having a dream come true! The fact that I get to work with Bhushan Sir and Mukesh Sir for this chance makes me feel both fortunate and appreciative. I’ve always been a big fan of Anurag Sir’s work, and working with him on this project has unquestionably influenced me in a great deal of different ways.”

Rahul Roy and Anu Aggarwal were the leads in the 1990 film “Aashiqui.” It told the story of a young man who wanted to be a singer and ended up meeting a stunning woman by chance in a police station.

When it was first released in 2013, the film ‘Aashiqui 2,’ which was the sequel to the first film and starring Shraddha Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapoor, was hailed as a box office success.

Mukesh Bhatt and Bhushan Kumar are both involved in the production of the musical together. Pritam is going to be responsible for the music. During the celebration, the group got off to a good and spiritual start with their work together by praying to Lord Ganesha for his blessings.

According to the producer Mukesh Bhatt: “Evening of the 16th of August in 1990, one day before the release of Aashiqui, Gulshanji and I were quite anxious. The following day, records were broken, and history was made. I am here today with Bhushan, Pritam, and Anurag and the heartthrob of the country Kartik to give everyone my word that ‘Aashiqui 3’ would celebrate love in a way that has never been seen before.”

Bhushan Kumar added: “It’s time to revisit the moments from those films whose narratives and scores left an indelible mark on our emotions. We are overjoyed to announce that ‘Aashiqui 3’ will be produced in conjunction with Mukesh Ji and directed by Anurag Basu, who is one of my all-time favourite Dadas. The movie will almost certainly have some novel aspects to it while still managing to stay true to its core! Kartik is a genuine rockstar in every respect following the enormous successes that he has given, and we could not have found a finer actor to play this role than Kartik; he is a perfect match!”

Anurag Basu, who will be directing “Aashiqui 3,” is excited to be doing so.

“The films “Aashiqui” and “Aashiqui 2″ evoked feelings in the audience that have stayed with them to this day; hence, the objective is to continue the legacy in the most successful manner. It will be the first time that I collaborate with Kartik Aaryan, who is well-known for the amount of effort, devotion, grit, and determination that he puts into his work, and I am quite excited about this one.”

Pritam, who is responsible for composing the music for the ‘Aashiqui’ franchise, has said that the series is well-known for its outstanding musical compositions. “I am incredibly delighted to be a part of this incredible brand, and I will do my best to help it reach the next level,” she said.
